Buddhism CPD Event for Teachers @ New College, University of Edinburgh
Jun 20 @ 10:00 am – 4:30 pm

School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh

A continuing professional development (CPD) event for teachers of the Buddhism unit of National 5 and Higher Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies (RMPS).

Join us at this free event to learn more about teaching Buddhism at Highers and National 5 level. Scholars of Buddhism from the University of Edinburgh will offer tailored sessions that explore ways of supplementing the curriculum for beliefs and practices as well as creating an opportunity to extend and diversify your understanding of Buddhism. You will discover new resources and approaches to take back to the classroom, and have the chance to discuss your practice with other teachers in the region.

The day will also include a group visit to the National Museum of Scotland Edinburgh, to explore the Buddhist collections on display and discover ways to relate them to your teaching.

Refreshments, including a vegetarian lunch, will be provided.
